Drawing on post-punk, new wave and synthpop to forge a unique electronic rock sound, DreamPrescription is one of those rare bands that can transform the challenges of life into artful recordings and still put on an electrifying show that feels like a party.

Dream Prescription has released two EPs and numerous singles, with their 2024 releases notching over 70k streams on Spotify. The band's latest singles have elicited praise from the likes of New Noise Magazine, who called Out Of My Head "a high octane thrill ride", and Earmilk, who lauded Settle Down as "riveting". Based in New York and formed as a duo in 2020, the band expanded their live lineup in 2023 to a full band, and their shows at well-respected NYC venues such as The Bowery Electric and Berlin Under A have been met with enthusiastic responses.

Dream Prescription is led by vocalist/guitarist/songwriter Tim Robert, whose career has included writing and performing for rock theater as well as producing and DJing electronic dance music. Robert made stirs in the international EDM scene, being called "one of the USA's brightest stars" by Release Promo DJ Pool and appearing at the prestigious Amsterdam Dance Event festival. Robert has enlisted several top-notch collaborators for Dream Prescription, beginning with synthesist Kent Friedman. Robert and Friedman met while playing DJ gigs together and went on to collaborate on remixes for each other. The band's live lineup now includes drummer Adam Fischel, keyboardist Brittany Anjou, and bassist/vocalist David Leatherwood, whose resume includes touring with supporting bands for acts such as Duran Duran.

Robert explains the project's mission: "I want our music to wrestle with questions of what we want, what we dream of, and the challenges people face in making their dreams a reality. My goal is to make our recordings and live shows a fun and cathartic experience for our fans."
